Speech-Language Pathologists
Lauren Clutter, M.A., CCC-SLP

Lauren graduated from Indiana University 
with a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing 
Sciences with concentration in Psychology, and 
Human Development and Family Studies. She 
continued on at I.U. and received her Master's 
degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007. 
She has experience with adult accent 
modification, special education, selecting appropriate 
educational placements for students, Early Intervention, feeding disorders, and children, teenagers, and adults with Autism and Down syndrome. 

She is an Illinois licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  Lauren is credentialed in Early Intervention and has been trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).  She is second author to "Evidence-based practice: A matrix for predicting phonological generalization" published in the Clinical Linguistics & Phonetics journal. 

Lauren creates a warm and relaxed environment for her patients to learn in.  She believes in teaching the foundational communication skills first to reduce any frustration and always setting up patients for success. Lauren loves summers in Chicago, enjoys being active with her dog Hudson, and exploring all the great restaurants in Chicago! 

Elizabeth Ryan, M.A., CCC-SLP

Liz graduated on the Dean's List from The George Washington University with a Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing.  She received her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University.  She is an Illinois licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence, and IL Type 73 teaching certificate.  Liz is proficient in American Sign Language.

Liz worked in the Los Angeles Unified School District for 3 years before relocating to and settling in Chicago. She has lived in NY, DC, and LA, but Chicago is her favorite city and is now her home. Liz enjoys cooking and loves reading. 

Jamie Kurzman, M.A., CCC-SLP

Jamie received her B.A. in Communication and Sociology from University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a Master's from San Jose State University.  She is an Illinois licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence, and IL Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology. 

Jamie has worked in a variety of classroom settings throughout Chicago.
